Freelance Writing Contest

This is a post about a couple of contest for freelance writers. I have a page on my blog that is dedicated to several contests for freelance writers that have been occurring throughout the year and have not added to it recently. However, I thought that I would share this particular one with you and I will get back to adding contest information on my site soon.

Hub Pages has a wonderful contest for freelance writers that write poetry, short stories and photo galleries. Hub Pages begins this particular contest in November. November 1st they will begin the contest and are giving away a lot of cash prizes throughout the month. 

Hub Pages is having this contest as only one of the many they have going on throughout the year.

-1st place is $500 

-2nd place is $100

-3rd place is $50

Free Short Story contest with cash prizes

-1st place is $500

Free photo gallery contest with cash prizes

These are wonderful prizes. In addition to these there is a daily cash prize drawing of $50 from among all of the entries each day for each category. One $50 cash prize drawn for one winner from each of the categories means they will give away an extra $150 per day in connection with this competition.

Hub Pages is a wonderful place to write and share your content for a number of reasons. I have been a member for a while at the Hub and can not tell you how friendly and helpful the community is. Hub Pages has a lot of wonderful contests they sponsor throughout the year for freelance writers. Hub Pages is also ranked extremely high by Google. Therefore, any content you publish with the site will also be ranked very high. You can add back links to other material you have on the web to your Hub and give their rankings a boost. They are easy to write and create content for and are considered a content authority. 

One thing that really stands out is their revenue sharing with Google AdSense. You will receive 75% for ad sharing revenue. You can also ad share with Amazon and Ebay with Hub Pages.
