Hub Pages is One of the Most Popular Writing Platforms with One of the Highest Rates of Residual Income

My blog is dedicated to freelance writing for income and the more blogs I write about that subject, the more I enjoy creating them.

There are plenty of opportunities on the web to display your written content and I wanted to share with you one of the most popular and best known sites, Hub Pages. This site is well known for displaying your content but did you realize they are also a terrific source for residual income? Making income from the same source over and over again is great.

Hub Pages is a content/article site with one of the highest affiliate paying programs available on the web.  This is a great source of residual income for Freelance writers. Your content is earning money over and over again.
Hub Pages offers affiliate programs for their site with Ebay, Amazon, Kontera and Google Adsense.
After you’ve joined the affiliate programs from eBay, Amazon, Kontera, and Google, ads for these companies perform on your Hubs. Any revenue produced during one of your impressions (a click-through with Google, an actual purchase with Amazon or eBay) is 100% yours.

Additionally, if you opt-in to the Hub Pages Ad Program, we will place additional ads to run alongside your Google AdSense, and Amazon and eBay Capsules, on your Hubs. These ads are drawn from a number of high-quality, premium ad sources, which we permit access to as a very large publisher. For any revenue generated from the Hub Pages Ad Program during one of your impressions, you will receive a share of those earnings.

Hub Pages splits the impressions with you in the following ways for their ad program:
·         Your own Hubs: Hubbers receive 60% of total impressions.

·         The Hub Pages Affiliate Program: You can refer new writers to Hub Pages and if they become Hubbers within 30 days, you receive an additional 10% of their Hubs’ lifetime impressions.

·         Traffic Referral Program: If you send traffic to any Hub, you’re entitled to either 9% or 12% of total impressions. You’ll receive 9% if the Hub you’ve referred people to already has impressions allocated to an Affiliate. If there are no Affiliates, you’ll receive 12% of the total impressions. Whatever is left from the splits above goes to Hub Pages.

Note that these splits apply only to Hubs and User Profile pages. On all other pages, such as a referral to a Tag page or the Hub Pages home page, you’ll receive 30% on a traffic referral, with Hub Pages getting the rest.

Hub Pages offers a terrific way to earn income from something you love and are already doing. Why not submit your content and earn income.

If you haven't already signed up for Hub Pages, please use my affiliate link. I would appreciate it. If you have worked with Hub Pages for a while, please let the rest of us know how well you did or did not do with them.
thanks again for following me.

  1. Hi, Sharron. I was accepted at Hub Pages but have yet to write an article for them, I think. I would love to know an estimate on how much someone can make on this site over time, based on PPC. For instance, I saw a blog post somewhere else that noted what that person made over about 2 years at the Examiner for an article and it was kind of impressive. Not sure if you have any statistics over time, and I know it would definitely depend on many factors as to how many visits someone would, but am curious -- ☺

great question.i found this great article on earning for hubpages.
this is the link to the hub. the author did work his rear end off over a 7 month period but it looks like he made it.
he doesnt really advise how the revenue broke down. i would imagine there was quite a bit more than ppc.

i would like to hear from any other readers or writers that are earning (or not) with hub pages.
